From The HCA Athletic Department

Heritage Christian Academy sponsors interscholastic sports competition through out the school year. During the fall we offer girls volleyball, soccer and boys soccer. Also in the fall, we offer Cross Country for our long distance runners. In the wintertime, both boys and girls hit the hardwood and play basketball. In the spring, we return outdoors for tennis, boys golf, girls softball, and boys baseball.

HCA is a member of the MSHSL and competes in the MCAA. This is a highly competitive league for our athletes but we meet the challenge with great enthusiasm. Our middle school participates in the Northern Suburban Parochial School League. The NSPSL provides our Middle school athletes with the opportunity to play against other parochial schools in the northern metro area.

Our athletic philosophy is clearly "Honor God with your best effort and attitude." We have been blessed with coaches who understand the nature of competitive Christian athletics and what it takes to balance your faith and the desire to win. We emphasize "training for success and character development." A student who practices and plays as hard as she/he can on a daily basis will be successful, no matter the outcome. Our coaches are to provide spiritual guidance throughout the season through devotionals, Bible studies, and personal conversation. It is our objective to fully integrate spiritual and physical growth and development.
